Lexis and Bloomberg Law permit unrestricted summer access to both continuing students and law graduates. Westlaw restricts summer access
by students and graduates to specific purposes and requires those eligible to
apply through their website.
2014 graduates
Lexis Advance
Graduates
have access to their school Lexis Advance ID until the end of August.
Bloomberg Law
Graduates have
unrestricted access for 6 months after they graduate.
Westlaw
May 2014 graduates have 60 hours of access to academic content each month from June-November, have access to job search content on Westlaw for 18 months after graduation, and may register for a password extension to prepare for the bar exam.

Continuing students
Lexis Advance
Students may
use their school Lexis Advance ID for school and job-related research, subject
to the permission of their employer.
Bloomberg
Students may
use BLAW during their summer job with no restrictions. Their access will
still be based on their academic account, so docket access will continue to be
free.
Westlaw
Westlaw and WestlawNext will be provided to non-graduating
law students participating in a qualifying summer activity:

· Project for a professor
· Moot Court
· Pro-bono work required for graduation
· Unpaid/non-profit public interest internship/externship (except
government)
Eligible students must register through the
“Request a Password Extension” banner located on the home page of the www.lawschool.westlaw.com site and agree to use their password for
educational purposes.
