A Happy and Sunny Spring to All!

April is Earth month, and May is National Clean Air Month. In recognition of these causes, several environmentally-oriented resources in the Library are listed here.

These study guides touch on topics such as pollution control, risk management, hazardous waste, sustainable development, and energy.

Oxford Handbook of International Environmental Law (Oxford University Press, 2008) introduces fundamental concepts and analytical tools, as well as key challenges.

DVDs:

Crude (2008) chronicles the legal struggle between rainforest dwellers in Ecuador and the oil colossus Chevron over oil spills.

Semper Fi: Always Faithful (2011). Master Sargeant Jerry Enminger struggles to make sense of the death of his nine-year old daughter of leukemia. While searching for answers, he discovers the cover-up of one of the largest water contamination incidents in American history at Camp Lejeune.
